@sumudu I think it’s just as simple as including this in your profile on Micro.blog
@sumudu you should include it in your profile
@JohnPhilpin after some exploring the what to do with a Psion5 and how I’d do anything with it, I fear that eBay may be the only thing I can reasonably do with a Psion5 in 2018. There is a market for them, even if I don’t know why.
@jack really? Didn’t see that. However I have just put a couple of AA batteries in my 5, to have a play with it. I can still handle compact flash from a reader connected to my iMac but the IR connectivity may have to be left in the 20th century.
@jack I’ve been tempted a few times to look out my Psion 5 pda from 1999-2000. Still one of the best keyboards ever made on a portable device.
@kimonostereo aww beautiful. I remember the puppy days...
@ismh Great video. Loved the “making of EasterEgg” at the end
@eli I’ve read through this and the referenced post. I’d never heard of “Ambient Humanity”, but easy to understand that we’re fundamentally herd animals.
@sumudu Did a US tour: 8 flights. 3 meetings in 3 states. 4 hotels. 0 cities or sites other than what’s visible from a cab or moving train.
@macgenie love that photograph
@eli Happy Birthday!
@jeremycherfas 10C?
@jcs are you actually installing this today???
@bitdepth nice pic. But don’t sit down there 😨
@jbwhaley I would like it to be easier to identify initial posts from replies, but that’s a minor niggle.
@JohnPhilpin however, at least with electronic notes you can’t see the text run across the page as you dribble coffee onto your Leuchtturm1917 notebook. 🤦🏼♂️
@JohnPhilpin my temptation with electronic notes is to fix typos. I’ll put a line through a spelling error or incorrect word on paper, but almost feel compelled to fix every spelling, grammatical or punctuation error when it’s digital and therefore possible.
@jack @petebrown what really helped me switch from text notes to handwritten is speed, and with handwriting I’m less able to fix typos, so have to live with any errors.
@alis Despite this (and numerous other issues I have with FB) I wonder what percentage of Users are married to someone who is married to Facebook. I include myself there. (And as I’m from the UK I can say our elections hasn’t been influenced... that we know of.)
@johnholzer are you in training for a marathon?
@jack, with @viticci you must be the only people with 2 HomePods.
@mjmoriarity gorgeous. I reckon our Minnie would luv some sunshine rather than more snow.
@joshginter I still can’t understand the round corners. I understand the attraction of loosing the chin and forehead but I keep thinking of the CRT TV from my bedroom growing up
